Neodymium magnets (also known as "NdFeB," "Neo," or "NIB") are powerful permanent magnets produced from neodymium, iron, and boron alloy. They are members of the Rare-Earth magnet family and have the strongest magnetic characteristics of any permanent magnet. It's used for Hard disc drives, mobile phones, and television video and audio systems all use neodymium magnets. Neodymium magnets are also widely used in magnetic separators, filters, ionisers, on-off switches, and safety and security systems.
